Past 10.12.2002- U.I.S.D Marching Festival- Congratulations to United for taking "Best Percussion" award. Your hard work has paid off. Also congratulations to the top 3 bands: Alexander (1st), Nixon (2nd), United (3rd). 10.14.2002- J.W. Nixon Marching Festival- Congratulations to United for once again taking the "Best Percussion" award. Congrats also to the top 3 bands: United (1st), Alexander(2nd), United South (3rd). 10.18.2002- J.W. Nixon vs J.B. Alexander Football Game- UISD Sports Complex 10.19.2002- U.I.L Marching Band Contest- Robstown Stadium. We are proud to announce our hard work paid off in earning us a I (ONE) rating, making it our 19th year consecutively! This means that we get to advance on to Area G contest in hopes of making top 4 bands out of 24 to advance on to State Marching Contest. Good job Nixon Band. Drumline: we killed it!
